Liana’s Concert is an original story written and conceived by RJ as part of See The Elephant’s Traveling Tales program.
SYNOPSIS:
Liana’s secret power is her voice. When she uses her voice, people will listen. Her dream is to become a musician and put on a rock concert. Liana’s mother doesn’t understand her powers and tries to stop her from performing.
BACKGROUND:
In 2022, See The Elephant partnered with the local Boys & Girls Club to facilitate story-writing workshops for youth. In these workshops, participants wrote original stories, in the genre of folktale / fairy tale. They created story arcs, concept art, and storyboards. Traveling Tales project artists then made these stories into short films using handcrafted puppets.
