FIND THEM is an original story written and conceived by Dulce as part of See The Elephant’s Traveling Tales program. Traveling Tales brings storytelling, puppetry, & film to youth in the El Dorado County region.
SYNOPSIS: When Yuri’s family goes missing, she devotes herself to finding them. She asks help from Star (cat girl) only to discover that Star has a dark secret…Does Yuri have the power to find her family?
BACKGROUND: In 2022, See The Elephant partnered with the local Boys & Girls Club to facilitate story-writing workshops for youth. In these workshops, participants wrote original stories, in the genre of folktale / fairy tale. They created story arcs, concept art, and storyboards. Traveling Tales project artists then made these stories into short films using handcrafted puppets.
